I came through an article written 40 years ago on "What will life be like in the year 2008", people did imagine World would be different and lots of advancement in Technology, but i guess its still not much different compared to 1960's.

We now tend to think, what would be world like is 2075..It Up to us...
Consider Advances in steel Industry, the stone age people used Axe shaped iron equipment for cutting woods, we still use it, common man is not able to use or afford anything more than that, so my question is, are we fast enough with all the technological breakthrough's. It's up Enterprenurs who endure difficult times and change the world to a better place.

It's always fascinating to dream , as u said reality is nowhere near it.
I would feel , its better to use axe if it is enough else we are over doing it.for that sake we would use bicycle even in 2075 .And the axe used in copper age is still not the same.
And at last i refuse to beleive enterpreneurs change the world.
now there are cries to save world , the timber and coal lobby exists in every country.
May be they have sold us whatever they can , but never for a better place to live.

Sounds a bit pessimistic, do you mean, no one can change anything ? Regarding axe, i meant technology can be used by people to make their living better, it would take lot longer to cut say steel with a solid axe, than a automatic tool.
