South India has less Attn: to Media

I came across the following link

I feel bad that i hav't seen these places. We should make it a point to see such places.

After spending long time to see the above link, i started thinking of Tourist Opportunities that exists in South India. The North of India has done well(OK)regarding tourism but in South India we are lacking a bit, should we do something abt it or better not to exploit it to western world.

India has 7000Km of coastline and most of it south, we seem not to advantage of it. If you take any european country with a coastline they generate enormous amount of money in tourism, should we/Government concentrate more on this or would it expolit the untamed (can i not say that) South India ? thoughts welcome..
