Indian Banks and Customer Service

Last month i went to Axis Bank, first i went to a Branch and tried to get information to setup my Business Account and Payment Gateway, the response was not very good. I found lots of answers like "I should be contacting managers and furthur contacting up in the hirarchy etc etc", so i decided to use an influence and approached Mr.Srinivas M.G road Branch on (Feb07 around 20th) and he is supposed to be some Head of something / vice President. The attitude at which that person spoke was very aggrogant, they actually looked zero in question i asked about Payment Gateway and started speaking about something else in Banking. I now compare these bank Managers with the receptionist to a U.K bank, the response here in U.K is satisfactory. You come out of the Bank with some positive thing which you can do next.

Why are Indian Banks and these Managers so Misbehaving and thinking they own the Bank. There is no mechanism of complaining or commenting on these bank. Are they not trained about basic Customer service. They are so arrogant. Do we Indians have any solutions for all these BIG headed MANAGERS ? Also people does not seem have enough knowledge. I am going to try different banks, untill i decide on Banks. I think i should select a bank which is least painfull among all painful banks.
